Subaru BRZ and Toyota 86 Wins Japan Car of The Year 2013

Twin sports car Subaru BRZ and Toyota 86 won the "Special Award" at the Car of the Year Japan 2013-2014. Subaru BRZ and Toyota 86 sports car is a result of collaboration between Fuji Heavy Industries (Subaru) and Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC).

Special Appreciation Award at the Car of the Year Japan is a form of special awards for exceptional cars. Car of the Year Japan "Special Award" 2012-2013 is a selection of the many new passenger cars were released in Japan in the period 1 November 2011 to October 31, 2012 by the jury of automotive experts and automotive journalists.

Subaru BRZ and Toyota 86 combines Subaru Boxer engine technology and Toyota 4-DS using direct injection system and the engine driving the rear wheels in front with a low center of gravity (ultra low center of gravity) produces a sports car that is easy to control.
